Structures in PixARK are set up in one of several tiers with regards to how they take damage. Different creatures and weapons can damage the various Structure Tiers differently. Note that an item's structure tier may not directly correlate to what that structure is made of, in fact they often don't.
The current Structure Tiers are as follows: Thatch, Wood, Clay, Stone, Copper, Glass, Marble, Iron, Magic Wood, Steel, and Armored Glass.
Thatch
Thatch is the lowest of all building tiers. Thatch buildings are relatively cheap, but the trade-off is that they provide little to no protection against other players or dinosaurs. If any decent kind of protection is needed, it is recommendable to upgrade to the wood tier as soon as possible.
The thatch tier includes most items made of thatch as well as many easy to craft utility structures.
- Thatch Ceiling
- Thatch Door
- Thatch Foundation
- Thatch Roof
- Thatch Wall
- Leather Sleeping Bag
- Wood Chair
- Wood Table
- Storage Box
- Large Storage Box
Wood
Wood is the second building tier. Wood provides much protection than thatch against other players and dinosaurs, but are still very weak compared to the higher-tier structures.
The wood tier includes most wooden structures as well as the Bamboo and Western Wood Styles.
- Wood Beast Gate
- Wood Behemoth Gate
- Wood Ceiling
- Wood Door
- Wood Fence
- Wood Roof
- Wood Step
- Wood Trapdoor
- Wood Wall
- Wood Window
- Wooden Floor
- Wooden Ladder
- Wooden Bench
- Bed
- Bamboo Ceiling
- Bamboo Chair
- Bamboo Divider
- Bamboo Door
- Bamboo Handrail
- Bamboo Foundation
- Bamboo Lamp
- Bamboo Roof
- Bamboo Stair
- Bamboo Table
- Bamboo Wall
- Bamboo Window
- Western Wood Chair
- Western Wood Door
- Western Wood Fence
- Western Wood Floor
- Western Wood Stair
- Western Wood Table
- Western Ceiling
- Western Wood Wall
- Western Roof
- Western Wood Window
- Western Storage Box
- Western Wood Bed
- Western Wood Bridge
The following items are currently set up as wood tier structures, but will most likely be corrected in a future patch to match the rest of their corresponding structure style:
Clay
The clay tier is rather small and only contains most structures belonging to the clay structure style.
Stone
Stone buildings are a significant step up from the lower thatch and wood tiers.
The stone tier includes most stone structures as well as those made of Sandstone and the Executive structure style.
- Stone Beast Gate
- Stone Behemoth Gate
- Stone Ceiling
- Stone Floor
- Stone Ladder
- Stone Railing
- Stone Roof
- Stone Stair
- Stone Trapdoor
- Stone Wall
- Executive Style Bridge
- Executive Style Ceiling
- Executive Style Door
- Executive Style Fence
- Executive Style Floor
- Executive Style Roof
- Executive Style Sign
- Executive Style Step
- Executive Style Wall
- Executive Style Window
Copper
The copper tier is the smallest of tiers, currently only containing two items.
Glass
While weak to normal attacks, items in the glass tier are resistant to magical attacks.
The glass tier is relatively small, currently only containing glass structures and a few other items which will most likely end up being listed as bugs at a later date.
Marble
The marble tier is slightly stronger than the stone tier.
The marble tier is by far the largest of tiers and contains several different structure styles, including most marble structures and most items from the Volcanic Rock, Flash Rock, Sea Crystal, Cryolite, Mediterranean, and Magic Academy structure styles.
Iron
The iron tier contains most of the structures made of iron.
Magic Wood
The magic wood tier contains most structures made of magic wood as well as the Dark Wood Structure Style
Steel
The Steel tier is the most important tier, given most of the lower-tier structures can be devastated by most attacks and creatures. Steel tier structures cannot be damaged by many types of attack.
Armored Glass
The Armored Glass tier is very similar to the steel tier, being immune to many types of attack
Notes
When looking at the game data, a structure's tier is saved in that item's "countsas" variable.
