Game units refers to how the game measures different quantities. The most common measurements are blocks and units.
Blocks[ | ]
A block is a voxel measurement system, sized as a 1x1x1 block cube. Structures are placed using block measurement and snapping.
Units[ | ]
Units are an absolute distance, typically used for things like insulation or weapon range. Each side of a block is 100 units long, so an insulation range of 1000 will extend to the edge of the 10th block away across a single axis, counting the source point as a block.
