The Coyote is one of the creatures in Pixark.
Museum descriptions[]
Wild[]
The solitary Coyote is not that territorial. You will be safe as long as you keep away from them.
Tame[]
Coyotes are easy to tame. Its hunting and collection abilities make it a good partner for novice adventurers.
Appearance[]
A furred animal, slightly smaller than the direwolf. Has tiny red eyes, and usually a matte grey or black fur.
Behavior[]
They are aggressive, solitary and usually defend their own kind. They were agile but vulnerable to weapons and stronger creatures. However for starters, it can be loyal like guard dogs if tamed and capable of gathering sources of meat.

Taming[]
Can be knocked out with stick and sleepy arrows. If using sleepy arrows aim for body, as coyotes have very low health (1 or 2 sleepy arrows should be sufficient to knock it out) and will most likely die to headshots. When unconscious feed raw meat or prime.
Note: Non-magical Sleepy Arrows fired from a bow or crossbow deliver extra torpor over time for 5 seconds after impact. Only two instances of this effect can be in effect at once - a third arrow hit before the effect has fully resolved will result in potential torpor being wasted. For maximum efficiency, time your shots so that they land 5 seconds apart. The numbers given here are assuming you do so.
For passive tames, there is a long wait between the first and second feedings as the creature eats, after which it follows the feeding intervals listed. These feeding intervals are estimates - the actual interval will vary per-creature based on random chance.
