Chitin (not to be confused with Chitin Paste, which is also called "Chitin" in-game) is an item in Pixark. Chitin is an important early material gained by harvesting bugs, turtles and scorpions.

An easy way to gain a lot of chitin is by taming a dino and kill other dinos with it. By doing this you are not required to use your tools and move around at a faster pace whilst doing more damage, thus resulting in better efficiency.
